Ander’s first business trip to Ukraine, not even as a founder of J&L Consulting took place back in 2001 when he was establishing a Textile company, a green field project in Novoyavorivsk. That period in Ukraine was especially appealing for foreigners that saw a new upraising star in Ukraine’s economy and were willing to invest. Even before Anders finished the Danish project in late 2002, two other companies turned to him for a advice to help them establish business in Ukraine.
Considering that Anders was already familiar with the market and knew how it worked, he realized there was big future for similar requests from foreigners to help them startup businesses in Ukraine, since most of them could see the great potential Ukraine had. This is when Anders Johansen decided to start his own consultancy company that would help attracting foreign investors - J&L Consulting. The business started growing very fast, from just 3 employees in the rise of the business and till fully supplied office of professionals that we work with right now.
