"May 25 the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to put into operation the customs automated system "Single window" from the 1st of August 2016." - The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine announced.
The “single window” is the electronic data communication system among all authorized controlling bodies and customs office introduced to simplify customs procedures by reducing their amount and minimization of the human element when making a decision on goods transportation through the Ukrainian customs frontier.
This means that the exchange of data about the goods will be carried out online between controlling bodies that will be able to provide simultaneous inspection of goods.
Here is another positive moment in the introduced changes. The clear time frame for approval of documents by controlling bodies is determined. They will have 4 hours to make a decision. If the answer from controlling bodies is delayed, the principle of "tacit consent” comes into effect, which means that the IT system automatically generates a positive decision on the relevant type of state control.
It sounds nice, isn’t it?
