Press service of the Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food of Ukraine informs about signing the Agreement between Ukraine and the Kingdom of the Netherlands on establishment of bilateral Business Council between Commerce and Industry Chamber of Ukraine and the Confederation of Industry and Employers of the Netherlands.
The main task of the Commerce and Industry Chamber of Ukraine is to create favorable conditions for business activities in Ukraine, establish and strengthen relations between Ukrainian companies and their foreign partners, protect the interests of Ukrainian companies both in Ukraine and abroad.
In the Kingdom of the Netherlands similar functions has Confederation of Industry and Employers of Netherlands, which represents the common interests of Dutch businesses in general, as is the largest association of Dutch companies including more than 80% of Dutch medium-sized companies and almost all of big-sized companies. Confederation works on issues of infrastructure, taxation, the environment protection, social security, etc., thereby improving the investment climate in the Netherlands.
The cooperation between Commerce and Industry Chamber of Ukraine and Confederation of Industry and Employers of Netherlands by establishing Business Council is going to be the basis for direct interaction between businesses of two countries. It is expected that its activities will focus on establishing, maintaining and strengthening business contacts, elimination of possible barriers on the way of conducting joint activities, providing practical services for entrepreneurs and to ensure effective business communication with relevant government bodies of both countries.
"I am convinced that the signing of the Agreement will be an important step in the development of bilateral relations in agrarian sphere . The creation of bilateral Business Council opens new opportunities for cooperation between businesses of both contries and contributes to the creation of joint enterprises and sharing of the business information "- said Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Oleksiy Pavlenko.
"The Netherlands is one of the biggest investors and trading partners for us. Today in Ukraine there are over 500 representative offices of Dutch companies and none of them left the market of Ukraine despite any crisis. We are working to improve the quality of our products and are ready to do what it takes to become a good and reliable partner for the European business community.
