Adoption of law

"On the introduction of quarantine in order to prevent the spread of acute respiratory disease COVID-19 in Ukraine” as of 09.12.2020

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a resolution "On the introduction of quarantine in order to prevent the spread of acute respiratory disease COVID-19 in Ukraine" on December 9, 2020.

Here we have created for you detailed information about the restrictions that are introduced in Ukraine from 8 to 25 January 2021.

Entry and borders:

Cross-border and intercity travel will be open.

Foreign nationals entering Ukraine will have to self-isolate for 14 days on arrival in Ukraine if they arrive from a country, which is in the “Red Zone”. Self-isolation is monitored via a government tracking app called “Dii Vdoma”.

Travellers arriving from "Green Zone" countries will not be required to undergo self-isolation or observation on arrival.

Mandatory self-isolation or quarantine is not necessary if a traveller provides evidence of a negative COVID-19 test result taken up to 48 hours before arrival in Ukraine, or once in Ukraine.

Check the list of red and green zone countries here: https://visitukraine.today/ by clicking the “more detailed” links in the “for citizens of green/red zones” information boxes. The red and green zone lists are updated frequently and can change quickly in response to the epidemic – you should check the lists regularly.

During the period of severe quarantine, it will be prohibited to visit educational institutions, trade in non-food products, hold any entertainment, sports or cultural events.
