Production Manager in Lviv region

Danish furniture production company is looking for Production Manager

Location: Lviv region

Subordination: 360 persons (2 shifts, 180 people in each shift)   

Purpose of the job: planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes

Key responsibilities

• Managing team’s performance in order to meet production targets: assessing project and resources requirements, staff recruitment, supervising and motivating a team of workers; identifying and organising training needs to develop technical and team skills as well as integrate the plant goals in Safety, Quality
• Maintains high level of products quality and processes reliability to support plant production cost, quality, and service goals
• Continually striving to improve each production process and technical modernization of production facilities
• Communication with technical department on selection and maintenance of equipment
• Building up system of organising the repair and routine maintenance of machines and equipment issues to ensure minimum costs and prevention of operational delays
• Determining quality control standards and implementing quality-control programmes. Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment with a goal of zero injuries and zero environmental violations

Preferred background and experience

• Strong people management skills
• Higher technical or other related to production education
• 4+ years experience in International manufacturing Company within Line Manager Role (experience within furniture industry is a plus)
• Hands on in planning and organising production process
• Experienced in modern manufacturing methods (e.g. Lean Manufacturing)
• Good knowledge of safety regulation
• English – good working knowledge

• Strong leadership and organization skills
• Ability to analyze information and to implement it into the development of the operations
• Mature personality, ability to make decision and take accountability for them
